Drive movie (alternative) soundtrack
« on: April 11, 2013, 12:47:07 PM »
Anyone seen (or have to share) the version of drive with its original soundtrack? I am led to believe there is an early version which has Brian Eno on it. Apparently the dude employed to do the soundtrack on the final cut was paid to imitate lots of existing music which was (apparently) superior. There are supposedly some 'screener' versions out there on the web.

sounds interesting. I was surprised that the soundtrack got as much love as it did as I thought it was absolutely horrible. The Tangerine Dream-esque score was fine (I assume this alternate soundtrack is probably in that vein), but all the actual songs were laughably terrible.

I'm gonna do some research this week - was hoping someone could save me the trouble...

I was never blown away by the soundtrack, it fits the film well, but yeah a lot of praise (much of which stems from 25-32 year old gosling loving ladies methinks) (gotta live gozza)
